“Learn to Explore…Explore to Learn and Travel More!”

I am delighted to be your Travel Consultant. I have traveled to various locations around the globe and am thrilled to be able to give you firsthand knowledge and reviews on various destinations. Whether you have a tight or flourish travel budget I can assist you with your travel needs and help you plan for your next trip.  If you also want to learn more about different cultures’ music, food, social/night life, and/or basic travel etiquette then this is where I can assist! I truly believe traveling to different parts of the world is one of the best teachers of life. You can’t be taught in a classroom how it feels to go elephant riding in the morning then afternoon shopping while floating on a boat at the floating market in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, or breathing the fresh morning air while on top of Table Mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa. These experiences are just not taught online or in a classroom setting. You must go explore and travel the globe to have these experiences. Therefore, don’t let money, fear or a busy work schedule steer you away from traveling. I encourage you to Explore! See the World! And Live Your Life to its Fullest!

Hello, Hola, Bonjour, Olá, Jambo, Azul, Shalom, 你好 Travelers!

About The Travel Goddess

Hello again fellow travelers. Some of you may be asking yourself, “So, what is a travelista?" A travelista is similar to a fashionista, but her passion and expertise is for travel rather than fashion.  A travelista is always traveling to new and exotic locations. She is adventurous and enjoys exploring the globe. Likewise, the travelista will have the latest information on travel deals, destinations, hot spots, where to shop, where to dine, where to stay, tips and tricks, and more!

I’m Letta Washington, the Travel Goddess. Along with traveling all over the world, I enjoy spending my down time with close friends and family. At a very young age, I discovered my love for exploring new places and writing motivational quotes and inspirational remedies. Here at The Travelista Goddess, I’ve combined both my love for writing and traveling, but most importantly, it’s my place to share my experiences with you all and take you on my journeys with me.

Life experiences are far more valuable than any materialistic item and traveling and exploring the world can be one of its greatest teachers!  I have been to over 30 different domestic and international destinations and I am ecstatic about exploring more and taking you along for the ride, so buckle up!

More about the Travel Goddess

I enjoy traveling in small groups as well as large groups up to 30+ people.

I don’t have a favorite travel destination because I feel every place is unique and has something amazing to offer.

I conduct intensive research before I travel to a destination and plan a year in advance for each trip. This time allows me to obtain information on the destination and the best travel deals.

When I travel I tend to venture out to where the natives and locals reside, eat, and party. I definitely consider myself an explorer and not just a tourist!

I currently reside in Atlanta, GA and work in Global Human Resources.

I attended the University at Buffalo where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/Healthcare Administration.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University.
